Kat Siciliano is a mixed-genre songwriter and musician based in Philadelphia, PA. Originally from East Brunswick, NJ, Kat’s love and pursuance of music started at a very early age. Most recently, she is one of the winners of Write Out Loud 2021, and her song “Falling” is featured on the Write Out Loud Vol. 3 EP sung by broadway star Ciara Renée. Her 6-song EP Farewell Tour with her band Kat & the Hooligans was released March 23, 2022.

Kat is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging with a concentration in voice. She released her first EP Stories in 2016, and, that same year, placed as a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song “Ghost Be Quick.” Since then, she has the pleasure of writing music for popular entertainment attractions such as Adventure Aquarium and Eastern State Penitentiary’s Terror Behind the Walls. She’s also had the opportunity to write multiple songs for jazz artists Chelsea Reed and the Fair Weather Five (“Pastrami On Rye” and “Sun Comes Up”) and Calli Graver (“You Don’t Have to Try”).

Kat is currently working on solo material and a children’s album, both to be released later this year. When she’s not working on her own material, she is more than likely singing at someone’s wedding and having a blast doing it. Her downtime is spent reading, watching D&D campaigns, and hanging out with her incredibly cute corn snake.
