Kat Siciliano is a jazz/pop musician and songwriter currently based in Philadelphia, PA. Having started singing publicly at the age of three, her enthusiasm and drive for music has only grown. Legendary Grammy/OSCAR/Emmy winning musician Randy Newman once told her,
“You’re very, very, very good and you have a gift for melody."
In 2015, she graduated from Temple University with a degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging. Her talent and ability to adapt to many musical genres have led her to perform all around the world; from the iconic Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, to House of Blues Orlando, to the Amsterdam Blue Note. In February 2016, Kat released her first EP entitled Stories. The five original jazz-influenced tracks on the album differ greatly in subject matter and mood, while each conveying her love of storytelling.
In 2017, she wrote a sing-along program for Camden, NJ's Adventure Aquarium. The three songs teach children about different animals living in the sea, and promote conservation so that the future generations can be better ambassadors for our planet. The same year, she penned the original song "Pastrami on Rye," for Chelsea Reed and the Fairweather Five's acclaimed swing album, Spreadin' Rhythm Around. Kat is also featured as a guest vocalist on halcionne's creative and imaginative album, continuo.
She continues to write and sing music that tells exciting stories, and hopefully inspires those who listen.
